A Brush with Inspiration

The brushes, the acrylics and the canvas finally beckoned. Long time.

Open to all interpretation(s).

The Buddha's image was inspired partly by my visit to Bodh Gaya and the visit to Kalighat. This is the preliminary notebook sketch. The final outcome on canvas is unknown to me right now...(Kali - Buddha - Woman - Man - Goddess - God - Intensity - Enlightenment - The Fire - The Calm - Life-like - Death-like - Bodh Gaya - Kalighat: all merge at some point).

The musician's image was partly inspired by Pandit Jasraj at his concert in Kolkata.

Intezaar.

Guruji i think its time you add some lines to your profile, like "a flair for etertaining people; courtesy my vocal cords and strokes of the brush."
See thats why i dont call you guruji just like that. I guess i am a less advanced life form to comment on any kind of art, and "nice" would be like under-rating them. Its coz my artistic talents are limited too the flora and fauna that i encounter in botany and zoology. But i could know that it was pt.Jasraj even b4 reading about it. You surely seem to have your fingers in lot of pies

:) hmm..no ma'm, it is just yet another harmless hobby. Adopted in the pursuit of killing time. That is all really. I was thinking of removing the stupid profile when, ironically but interestingly, you mention the addendum. Kya timing hai. ...Honestly, thanks again for the nice words.
